There is step free access to all parts of the station with lifts and escalators giving access to the platforms
We want everyone to travel with confidence. That is why, if you are planning on travelling on national rail services, you can request an assistance booking in advance - now up to 2 hours before your journey is due to start, any time of the day. There is a Customer Information Point in the Main Concourse opposite the main departure boards.
Located in the main travel hall, next to the travel centre. Please check the opening times on the National Rail Enquiries website.
Outside PA reception opening times, go to the customer information point on the station concourse or make yourself known to station staff on concourse
A drop off area is located at Calton Road, an assistance call point is located beside the lift.
Assistance is available to and from platforms, please call in advance to use this service. Please contact customer services of the relevant train operator:

Cycle storage can be found in the station: by the lift at Platform 2 (37 spaces) Platform 3 (68 Spaces) and adjacent to Platform 19 (86 Spaces). Additional cycle spaces are available in New Street car park (32 spaces).
Parking is chargeable for all vehicles. There is free short term parking for up to 40 minutes at New Street car park
