Until January 2027, Huddersfield will have three platforms instead of six, whilst Transpennine Route Upgrade works continue. Northern services from Leeds and Bradford Interchange will not run into Huddersfield. A rail replacement bus will run to Brighouse to connect to those services.
Due to the TransPennine Route Upgrade works taking place at this station, this car park is closed until mid 2027.

This station is category B1. Step free access is provided from the station entrance to all platforms. Lifts are used to provide level access to the subway and platform 3. This station is staffed for all services. There are train boarding ramps available at this station, and they are also carried on board all TransPennine Express trains.
Help Points are available on all platforms to contact a member of our team in an emergency or for information when the ticket office is closed. When using the Help Point our CCTV will be monitoring your position for the duration of the call.

Ticket Office
.The ticket office is located on the left side of the concourse. Please check the opening times on the National Rail Enquiries website.
Platform 1 Office
.Outside of ticket office staffing hours, please go through the ticket gates onto platform 1, turn left, and ring the bell at the information office.
Please note: Ticket vending machines at this station do not accept cash.
Replacement buses will depart and arrive at St George’s Square, a short walk from the station.
