This station is category B1. Step free, level access is provided into the station from Zetland Street and Bridge Street West. Step free, ramp access is provided into the station from the station car park. The entrance from Exchange Place has steps. Lifts are used to provide level access from the subway to both platforms, the ticket office and concourse. This station is partially staffed. There are train boarding ramps available at this station, and they are also carried on board all TransPennine Express trains.
Help Points are available on both platforms and within the Booking Hall to contact a member of our team in an emergency or for information when the ticket office is closed. When using the Help Point our CCTV will be monitoring your position for the duration of the call.
