This station is category A. Step free access is provided from the station entrance to all platforms. Lifts are used to provide level access from the subway to all platforms. This station is staffed for all services. There are train boarding ramps available at this station, and they are also carried on board all TransPennine Express trains.
Help Points are available on platforms 1, 3 and 4 and also within the Booking Hall to contact a member of our team in an emergency or for information when the ticket office is closed. When using the Help Point our CCTV will be monitoring your position for the duration of the call.
Ticket Office
.The ticket office is located in the main station building on the ground floor. Please check the opening times on the National Rail Enquiries website.
Platform
.Outside of ticket office staffing hours, customers should wait on the platform and make themselves known to the train crew when the train arrives.
