If the booking office is closed, there is an entrance along the side of the station which will allow entry to the platform.
This is a Category A station. This station has step-free access to both platforms. The Passenger Assist meeting point is at the Ticket Office.
Please take care when boarding/alighting the train towards the rear of the platform as the stepping distance between the platform and the train may be more prominent than at other areas of the platform.
